We all need to retire eventually, and occasionally sled dogs decide they would much rather be pets!

At Bluesky we are committed to a "No Cull" policy for all healthy adoptable dogs. Costs associated with finding appropriate homes and removing them from the community are extremely high, however we dedicate a minimum of $5 from every dog sled/cart ride to our sled dog adoption program.

If you are interested in adopting one of our retired sled dogs, or know of someone who may, please contact us and we would be happy to discuss any dogs we may have up for adoption. We interview all potential adoptive families, and once the dog has been relocated we maintain contact to ensure a successful transition for the dog and their new family.
